A lot has happened since September 2019. First, you can read about what I did to my husband and our marriage here.
We tried working things out when he got out of jail in December 2019, but it didn’t happen. He says it’s because I wouldn’t give him the answers he wanted and needed to move past it, but I really tried. I was so messed up from the drugs I did while he was in jail, that I don’t even remember much of the first few months after he got home from jail last year. I don’t remember Christmas…
Being a writer isn’t easy. I have been writing online for almost 14 years and I went through some tough times over the years with the different companies and private clients I worked with since I started in 2007. Hell, I still go through the tough stuff sometimes. I sometimes get rejected and sometimes my articles still come back to me for revisions. I don’t give up though. I fix the mistake I made and resubmit the article. No big deal!
Many new writers seem to think that just because writers work from home on their laptops, that this is…
Before I share my story with you all, I want to link to a piece I wrote last year about how my biggest failure in life created the best life for me. I thought my biggest failure or mistake I made in life was quitting high school. Well, it was a huge mistake and failure for me but it made me meet my husband. You’ll find out how it lead to meeting the love of my life by reading it.
Since then, I did make the biggest mistake of my life. Quitting high school was nothing compared to this HUGE…
I haven’t written on Medium in a long time. There is a very good reason for that. I have been fighting depression. Not only caused by the Methamphetamines I was doing but by something else that happened in my life that I will write about soon on here. My emotions are still raw and I’m still depressed but I’m fighting it a little every day. I have found a few ways to help me get through the day. Keep reading to learn more.
Although it’s hard to do, I try to wake up telling myself positive things. Things like ‘today…

Some people seem to think that being a writer means they can just write and get paid and do nothing else. This may be true for certain writing online, like ghostwriting where you write for clients without your name added to the article as the author. The client will pay you and you do nothing else after writing their articles. This is because once they pay you, the article is theirs to do what they want with. You have nothing more to do with it after you write, submit the article, and get paid…
I have been a professional writer for 13 years. I started writing in 2007 for what used to be called Associated Content until Yahoo bought them out and kept us on for a while. While writing for Yahoo, they named me one of the Top 1,000 Contributors for four years in a row. Those of us who were in the top 1,000 got badges placed on our profiles to showcase this to our fans. After this, I was also named one of the Hot 500 Contributors for the last few months before they quit taking our submissions. They eventually stopped…
When it comes to writing online, many people start out with their own blogs. They either use Wordpress, which is preferred by most bloggers, or they use Blogger. When I first started blogging online 13 years ago, I created a few blogs on different topics that I enjoyed talking about and knew a little about. However, I had no idea about Wordpress at the time, so I created my first blog with Blogger. It was pretty straightforward to use, and I thought I would make a lot of money with my blogs. …
For those who don’t yet know what SEO is, it stands for Search Engine Optimization. It means to optimize your blog posts for the search engines. According to Moz.com, SEO, or search engine optimization is “the practice of increasing the quantity and quality of traffic to your website through organic search engine results.”
Many bloggers these days seem to think SEO is the only thing that matters in content. They think that SEO is the only thing they need to succeed with blogging. Is this true? Yes, and no. Not yes or no, but yes and no.
What I mean…
A few days ago, I wrote a simple blog post about how Medium motivates you to write more. I received a nasty comment on it. The reason I received this nasty comment, however, was because this person was angry about an opinion piece I wrote on here months ago. Yes, an opinion piece that I can have because I am a person with opinions. I’m sure we can all have our own opinions on things.
Because of this opinion piece I wrote a few months ago, this person found it and left this rude comment on my newest article on…
I started writing in 2007. Back then I never imagined I would be the professional writer that I am today. I started out with a website called Associated Content. I met a lot of my online friends from that site and I am still friends with them to this day on Facebook. Associated Content let us write on any topic we wanted to write on. Yahoo Contributor Network eventually bought AC out and kept all of us amateur writers, as we were at the time, on to keep writing for them. …
